About Us

Designed Specifically for Major Capital Projects

Advanced Manufacturing Partners (AMP) was created around a simple idea: major capital projects deserve a supply partner built specifically for major capital projects. Traditional electrical distribution is designed to serve a broad customer base—from everyday material requirements and local inventory to construction projects and emergency needs.

AMP takes a different approach.

We focus our resources, supplier network, systems, project management, and logistics capabilities around large, complex, schedule-driven capital projects. Our objective isn’t simply to supply electrical products. It is to help execute the electrical supply strategy behind the project.

Our Approach

Start With the Project

About the AMP ApproachInstead of beginning the conversation with, “What product do you need?” AMP begins with, “What are you building?”
That distinction drives how we approach the project.

Project Requirements

Understand what is being built and the engineering requirements, specifications, standards, and approved manufacturers that govern the project.

Schedule & Long-Lead Exposure

Identify when critical equipment is required and which products or manufacturing constraints could threaten the construction schedule.

Manufacturing Capability

Evaluate manufacturers based on technical capability, production capacity, lead times, and the ability to support the project.

Supply Strategy

Determine how individual requirements and multiple electrical product categories can be sourced and coordinated more effectively.

Logistics & Delivery

Plan how equipment should be staged, consolidated, released, transported, and delivered around the needs of the project.

How Much of the Project Can AMP Solve?

The goal is not simply to quote more products. It is to identify where AMP can simplify sourcing,
coordinate requirements, improve visibility, and help execute the electrical supply strategy behind the project.

Experience Across the Electrical Supply Chain

Experience From the Manufacturer to the Project

AMP’s leadership brings decades of experience across virtually every stage between the manufacturer and the jobsite.

Electrical Distribution

Sales, operations, strategic accounts, warehousing, and national project support.

EPC & Capital Projects

Experience supporting EPCs, owners, contractors, engineers, and procurement organizations on complex projects.

Manufacturer Relationships

Sourcing strategies involving manufacturers, OEMs, representatives, distribution partners, and specialty suppliers.

Project Management

RFQs, submittals, procurement, manufacturing coordination, scheduling, expediting, and issue resolution.

Warehousing & Logistics

Material consolidation, staging, transportation, scheduled releases, and project delivery.

Major End Markets

Data centers, power generation, renewables, grid and substations, industrial, energy, and infrastructure.

This experience shaped the AMP model. We have seen where traditional project procurement works—and where fragmentation, limited visibility, long lead times, manufacturing constraints, and disconnected logistics create unnecessary project risk.

Our Operating Philosophy

Built From Lessons Learned on Major Projects

Focus Creates Expertise

By concentrating on major capital projects, AMP can build its people, supplier network, systems, and processes around the requirements of those projects.

Visibility Reduces Project Risk

Project teams need visibility into engineering, approvals, manufacturing, milestones, logistics, and potential schedule risks.

Execution Matters

Price matters, but so do manufacturing capacity, documentation, schedule certainty, communication, logistics, and delivery.

Independent by Design

The Right Solution for the Requirement

AMP’s objective is not to force every project requirement through a single manufacturer’s portfolio. Our growing supply network includes manufacturers, OEMs, manufacturer representatives, specialty suppliers, distribution partners, engineering resources, and logistics providers. That gives AMP the flexibility to evaluate solutions based on technical fit, specifications, manufacturer capability, production capacity, lead time, commercial requirements, project schedule, and logistics.

We Don’t Start with What’s on the Shelf

We Start with What the Project Requires

National Reach—Project Focus

Support Built Around Where the Project Needs It

Major projects don’t operate within traditional branch boundaries. Neither does AMP.

Our supplier and logistics strategy is designed to support projects across multiple regions and markets, coordinating resources around where the project is located and what the schedule requires. Whether the requirement involves a single critical piece of equipment or a coordinated multi-manufacturer electrical package, AMP’s approach remains the same:

  • Understand the project
  • Build the supply strategy
  • Maintain visibility
  • Execute the plan
